Message from the CEO
Welcome to Heystack,
We built Heystack because the current process of selling cards is broken.
As a long-time collector and someone who has worked in the hobby as a product manager, marketer, and executive, I have seen the same friction points over and over again. Selling cards should not feel harder than acquiring them. Yet for most, it does.
Heystack is built to solve a problem every serious seller runs into: listing cards quickly and efficiently without sacrificing quality.
The current listing process is not one problem. It is three.
Imaging
Taking good images of cards is hard. It is difficult because there are no existing solutions built specifically for cards. You are either forced to use a scanner designed for documents or you must build your own custom setup using a smartphone.
That usually means managing lighting, finding a clean background, adjusting angles, and repeating the process card after card. You see the inconsistency every time you scroll through marketplace listings.
Sellers deserve a workflow that respects their time. That is Heystack.
Identification
The total card catalog is too large for any individual to memorize. As new releases introduce more inserts and more parallels, the complexity only increases.
We built card recognition software trained specifically on modern releases and parallels to eliminate the research, verification, and manual typing that slow sellers down. Instead of toggling between blogs, checklists and existing listings, you confirm the match and move forward.
Now you can process large stacks of cards in minutes instead of hours.
Listing
Most ingestion flows require you to image, identify, and list cards one by one.
We see the problem as "ripping by the box but selling by the single."
That mismatch is what creates backlogs. If you acquire cards in volume, you should be able to list them at the same speed that you acquire them.
Heystack allows you to image stacks of cards, identify them using recognition built specifically for new releases and parallels, and publish listings in bulk to marketplaces like eBay.
The only way to understand the difference is to use it. Create a free account to get started. If you have feedback, email me directly at .
All the best,
Steve Sloan
